The “lynchman” is the work of John Whiteman’s transformation, regarded by the academic circles as a sign of making him one of the leading writers in the world. The novel tells the story of four black youth plans to lynch the execution of a white policeman whose lynching plan is a microcosm of the Afro-American power movement of the 1960s and ’70s and whose elaborate design highlights the gender of the black power movement political. The article analyzes the historical roots, cultural soil and inherent causes of black gender politics in the works, and analyzes the essence of its anti-ethics and antisocial justice and the possible tragedies. The article argues that the bankruptcy of the black lynchings in the novel reflects the malpractice and harms of the gender politics of the Negro People’s Rights Campaign. It is through the failure of the lynchman’s plan to reflect, analyze and question the gender political motto in the movement.
