激光在印刷上的应用,即利用激光相干性的特点,把光聚集到大小与其波长同量级的空间区域上,约1μm范围。所以,在任何情况下,在1m~2对激光敏感的面积上,以点构成的信息可形成高达10~(12)点的图形。新的应用小型计算机与微型计算机促进了激光的新的应用,其特点有:(1)激光的聚焦能力,它与激光的波长有关(对氩离子激光器为0.488μm,氦氖激光器为0.033μm);(2)相干光在传送中光束是不扩展的。用于图象控制与数字传送十分理想。已出现了两种激光成象
