《简·爱》这部作品的作者是英国作家夏洛蒂·勃朗特。它所塑造的人物形象——简·爱,是一个富有勇气与斗争精神的女性,对爱情、生活以及自己的信仰都采取独立自主的积极态度,最大限度地争取作为女性的自由平等的地位。作品反映出作者个人的女性主义的思想,是英国文学史上的一部传世之作。作品的翻译版本众多,本文主要以女性译者祝庆英和男性译者凡海、吴江皓的两种译本为指导,对《简·爱》中人物的形象译法进行对比分析,从中体会译者在翻译过程中对女性主义意识的认识。
Jane Eyre is the author of the British writer Charlotte Bronte. The character image Jane Eyre, which is shaped by it, is a courageous and struggle woman who takes an independent and positive attitude toward love, life and her own beliefs, and strives for the maximum freedom and equality as a woman. Works reflect the author’s individual feminist thinking, is a handed down in the history of British literature. The translation of the works is numerous and varied. This paper, guided mainly by the female translator Zhu Qingying and the male translators Fanhai and Wu Jianghao, analyzes the image translation of the characters in Jane Eyre, Feminist Consciousness in Translation.
