森林火灾的发生和蔓延,除与森林种类、林木疏密程度、树木年龄等条件有关外,还与气象条件有着密切关系。大家知道,森林中各种可燃物的着火点是不同的,它决定于可燃物含水量的多少。而含水量的多少则取决于气象条件的变化情况,如湿度的大小、气温的高低、降雨量的多少、风力的强弱等。一般认为,晴天、高温、大风天气,常使森林中可燃物的含水量下降到40%以下,这时最易发生森林火灾。在诸种气象条件中,空气湿度是火险天气
