马克思列宁主义同中国实际相结合有两次历史性飞跃,产生了两大理论成果。第一次飞跃的理论成果是毛泽东思想;第二次飞跃的理论成果是邓小平理论。作为毛泽东思想的继承和发展的邓小平理论,是指导中国人民在改革开放中胜利实现社会主义现代化的正确理论。在当代中国,只有邓小平理论,而没有别的理论能够解决社会主义的前途和命运问题。十五大在党章中把邓小平理论确立为党的指导思想,明确规定:中国共产党以马克思列宁主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论作为自己的行动指南。这表明中央领导集体和全党把邓小平开创的建设有中国特色社会主义事业全面推向新世纪的决心和信念,也反映了全国人民的共识和心愿。
There have been two historic leaps in the combination of Marxism-Leninism with the actual situation in China, and two major theoretical achievements have been produced. The theoretical result of the first leap was Mao Zedong Thought; the theoretical achievement of the second leap was Deng Xiaoping Theory. Deng Xiaoping Theory, as the succession and development of Mao Zedong Thought, is the correct theory that guides the Chinese people to victory in realizing the socialist modernization in the course of reform and opening up. In contemporary China, only Deng Xiaoping Theory and no other theory can solve the issue of the future and destiny of socialism. The 15th Party Congress established Deng Xiaoping Theory as the party’s guiding ideology in the party constitution and clearly stipulated that: The Chinese Communist Party should take Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory as its guide for action. This shows that the CPC Central Committee and the entire Party have shown their determination and faith in pushing the cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics into an all-round way in the new century that Deng Xiaoping has pioneered. It also reflects the consensus and aspiration of the people throughout the country.
