Mao Zedong not only wrote no self-reports, autobiographies and the like, but under his system, the background of his family background, physical condition, habits and so on are all party secrets. The first edition of the People’s Publishing House, which was first published in 1993, and the second edition of the 1996 edition of Mao Zedong’s Self-Introduction, actually asked Mao several times for interviews and interviews with western reporters. The most personal of these was the remark that was made in 1936 to the reporter Snow of the United States, which has long been known for his “journey to the west.”
