[Objective] The research aimed to study the relationship between cultivars and land use in different evaluation units by means of cluster analysis. The division of cultivated land use could provide a scientific basis for the protection and rational utilization of cultivated land in the county. [Method] Taking Pingdu City of Shandong Province as an example, the main factors of arable land utilization were fully considered, the land use structure reflecting the arable land structure, output, regional geography and its related factors were selected, and the landscape structure, output and Spatial location functions of cultivated land use indicators, and cluster analysis and arable land zoning. [Result] The cultivated land use in Pingdu City was divided into four types of areas, of which the first and second districts need to strengthen the protection of arable land, especially high-quality cultivated land so as to ensure the quantity and quality of the crops in the area; the first and third districts need the construction land Improve concentration and utilization; four districts should focus on the development of a variety of characteristics of agriculture, to avoid blindly expand the planting industry. [Conclusion] During the process of urbanization and the pursuit of high output of arable land in the coastal agricultural area in the east, it is necessary to strengthen the control over the construction of land occupied by high quality cultivated land and increase the utilization rate of construction land. Second, we must continuously check the intensive use of cultivated land, especially vegetables Third, attention should be paid to protecting the diversity of land use according to local conditions and avoiding the blind expansion of arable land in order to facilitate the continuous improvement of the overall cultivated land and the environmental conditions of its agricultural products.
