本文在数据分析的基础上,讨论了北美中文教学现状:学生成分和生源背景;课程设置和学校对生源变化发展所提供的制度性的措施、学科的设置;师资培训和教师的呼声。首先在讨论学生语言文化的多元的基础上特别分析了他们的学习动机与学习要求。其次展现了北美大学在适应剧增的生源方面所做的一系列具体教学设置,并以美国的一所大学为例进行了个案分析。最后在展现新补充的师资对汉语国际传播起了雪中送炭的作用时,分析了对国际汉语教育人才培养的新挑战,师资培训的内容与方式。
Based on the data analysis, this paper discusses the status quo of Chinese teaching in North America: the composition of students and the background of students; the institutional measures provided by curricula and the change of students’ origin, the setting of disciplines; the training of teachers and the voice of teachers. First of all, students ’motivation and learning requirements are analyzed in detail on the basis of discussing the diversity of students’ language and culture. Second, it shows a series of specific teaching setups made by North American universities in adapting to the surge of students. A case study of a university in the United States is taken as an example. In the end, when the newly recruited faculty members have played an active role in the international communication of Chinese, the paper analyzes the new challenges and the contents and methods of teacher training in international Chinese education.
