2008年7月7日,中国书法家协会向“中国书法之乡”隆德县授牌仪式在宁夏银川举行。中国书法家协会党组书记,副主席兼秘书长赵长青为隆德县颁发了“中国书法之乡”牌匾,隆德县成为全国第五个,西北第一个县级“中国书法之乡”。自治区领导陈建国、项宗西、于革胜、马金虎、杨春光等观看了隆德县书画展。自治区党委书记陈建国鼓励隆德县要充分发掘文化底蕴深厚的优势,提升文化软实力,促进经济社会快速发展。自治区党委常委、宣传部部长杨春光在授牌仪式上讲话。
