With the development of society, the active role of this kind of educational theory in many aspects has become increasingly prominent. It has gradually gained the attention of more and more countries. It has begun to change from an educational concept to a national education policy and development strategy. In China, though the popularization of the trend of lifelong education is slower than in the West, it is now an important part of China’s strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, which sets new demands on the college’s public English education.
