严文井(1915—2005),原名严文锦。湖北武昌人。现代作家、散文家、著名的童话作家、编辑出版家。中共党员。1935年到北平图书馆工作,1938年赴延安,任延安鲁艺文学系教师,之后任《东北日报》副总编辑。解放后历任中宣部文艺处处长,中国作家协会党组副书记、书记处常务书记,《人民文学》主编,人民文学出版社社长、总编辑。著有《严文井散文选》、《严文井近作》、《严文井童话集》、《严文井童话寓言集》等。
Yan Wenjing (1915-2005), formerly known as Yan Wenjin. Wuchang, Hubei. Modern writer, essayist, famous fairy tale writer, editor and publisher. CPC member. 1935 to Peking Library work, went to Yan’an in 1938, Ren Yan’an Lu Yi literature teacher, then “Northeast Daily” deputy editor. After the liberation, he served successively as director of literature and art department of the Central Propaganda Department, deputy party secretary of the Chinese Writers Association, standing secretary of the secretariat, chief editor of People’s Literature, president and editor-in-chief of People’s Literature Publishing House. Author of “Yan Wenjing essay selection”, “Yan Wenjing recent works”, “Yan Wenjing Fairy Tales Collection”, “Yan Wenjing Fairy Tales” and so on.
