Preface When using the thermal imager to measure the two-dimensional temperature field of the object surface and measuring the surface temperature of the object with the radiation thermometer, the temperature of the object can be accurately detected only by accurately knowing the object blackness. Blackness is not only related to the type and temperature of the object, but also to many factors such as surface condition. There are many ways to measure the blackness. This article introduces the principle, method and test results of measuring the blackness of the object by infrared thermal imager.
