我市目前有各级老年大学(学校)782所,市、县、乡三级建校率达到100%;社区、村(居)委会老年学校普及率达53.8%。其中有6个区、市的普及率达100%,全市基本形成了以县(市)区老年大学为龙头、各街道办事处老年大学分校为支撑、各社区(村、居委会)老年学校和教学点为基础的四级办学网络。作为边疆少数民族众多的欠发达区域,我市老年教育发展如此之快,主要有以下几点体会。
