One of the missing concerto conceived by Liszt and Tchaikovsky for the first time was discovered and recorded. The concerto was presented as the gift of Liszt to his favorite female student tomb, Niche-born pianist Sofie Menther, last year of his life’s voyage. The first song was mentioned in Liszt’s letter to Menter in August 1885. A month later, Liszt’s mastermind wrote in his diary: “It was difficult for him to make a piano composition for Sophie’s Door.” Liszt particularly enjoyed his student Menter after seventy years of age.
