In the increasingly fierce battlefield of information warfare, the influence of the news media on military operations has been paid more and more attention to by military strategists. The 1993 U.S. Army Truck Terrorism Directive states that “the impact of visual media on the implementation of military operations is much greater today than ever before.” For this kind of influence, we can get a glimpse through the Gulf War. In the 1991 Gulf War, the press first reported the war to the world through the Global News Network. More than 1,600 journalists gathered in Saudi Arabia. The U.S. Central Headquarters held 98 press conferences,
