笔墨的发展是经历了漫长的历史过程的,笔墨虽然不能说成是判定一幅中国画是否精彩的唯一标准,但是,没有笔墨的绘画,决不能将其称为是中国画。中国画是中华民族祖祖辈辈集体智慧的结晶,有多少后代沉迷于中国绘画笔墨研究,悉心钻研、体悟,却也永远没有办法超越前人们精绝的绘画水平。中国绘画,尤其是中国笔墨,它不仅仅是一种传统的艺术文化,更是一种传统的精神文化,艺术家们对中国画笔墨的理解,就是对中国传统艺术精神的理解。中国画以“笔墨”作为本体的语言,是极高又及其通俗,是极富人性的平淡天真,笔墨重气韵,重人格,重品味,永远吸引着一代代后人迈入具有这无穷魅力的殿堂。
