1977-1980年在美国华盛顿州普尔曼附近的华盛顿州立大学的Spillman农场进行了田间试验,土壤为粉砂壤土.每年在3个不同时期(早、正常、晚)播种5个春大麦品种(Steptoe、Larker、Advance、Vanguard、Kimberley)、3个春燕麦品种(Cayuse、Corbit、Appaloosa)和5个春小麦品种(WS-1、Twin、Fielder、Urquie、Walladay).
Field trials of Spillman farms at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, USA, between 1977 and 1980 were conducted on silt loam soil with 5 spring barley varieties (Steptoe , Larker, Advance, Vanguard, Kimberley), three spring oat varieties (Cayuse, Corbit, Appaloosa) and five spring wheat varieties (WS-1, Twin, Fielder, Urquie, Walladay).
