冯景兰,字淮西,河南唐河县人。我国著名地质学家矿床学家。1918年考取北京大学预料。同年赴美留学,在科罗拉多矿业学院学习矿山地质、荣获矿山工程师学位,1921年转入哥伦比亚大学研究院学习矿床学、岩石学和地貌学、获地质硕士学位。1923年回国,任河南中州大学科学通论讲师,不久晋升为地质系教授,并任矿物地质系主
Feng Jinglan, word Huaixi, Henan Tanghe County. A famous geologist depositologist in our country. In 1918, he was admitted to Peking University. In the same year, he went to the United States to study in the United States. He studied mine geology at the Colorado School of Mines and earned a degree in mine engineering. In 1921, he moved to Columbia University to study mineral deposits, petrology and geomorphology, and obtained a master’s degree in geology. After returning to China in 1923, he served as a lecturer in the science of Henan Zhongzhou University. He was soon promoted to a professor of the Department of Geology, and served as the chief of mineral geology.
