对于企业用户来说,其信息系统所要保存和处理的商业经营与管理的数据量是非常惊人的,而且它们对企业发展和服务品质的影响也非常大。但复杂的网络环境、多样的存储设备、繁复的管理手段以及突发的系统故障等,都会给用户的IT系统管理人员带来巨大压力。所以,当服务器集群技术出现时,其良好的高可用性、可扩展性以及较低成本等特性,立即受到企业用户的欢迎,并使之成为当前数据处理系统的核心支柱。根据应用和规模的不同,集群可分为高可用集群和高性能集群两大类。
For business users, the amount of data they need to store and manage their business operations and management in their information systems is staggering, and their impact on business development and service quality is significant. So when server clustering comes out, its high availability, scalability, and lower cost are immediately welcomed by enterprise users and make it a core pillar of today’s data processing systems. According to the different application and scale, the cluster can be divided into high-availability cluster and high-performance cluster two categories.
