我因工作之便,在武汉看到武汉市楚剧团演出的《刘介梅》。一个戏本来看一遍就可行了,但我却看了两遍,如果有机会我还想再看一遍。这个戏的演出所以受到观众的热烈欢迎,很长时期内卖座不衰,那不在于刘介梅是个新闻人物,而在于剧本和演出的思想上和艺术上的成就。一、剧本的作者們沒有受到刘介梅真人真事的束缚,在原来生活的素材上,創造出刘介梅、仙梅等生动的艺术形象。旣及时地配合了任务,给广大群众以深刻的思想教育,但并不粗糙、干癟,有較高的艺术感染力。二、剧团的导演、演員、音乐工作者在老艺人的指导下,創造性地把传统戏曲的表演和音乐运用到这个戏里来。唱腔有创造,听起来还是楚剧,沒有不三不四的感觉。表演也沒有生硬的运用传統的兰花手或各种行当的台步和身段,而是在现代生活的基础上充分吸取前人的經驗,創造出适合表现现代人的思想感情的表演手法。整个演出的風格从表演到音乐 Because of my work, I saw the “Liu Jiemei” performed by the Wuhan Chu Opera Troupe in Wuhan.
