1971年11月27日,我国地质科学的“四大奠基人”之一,翁文灏逝世了。他在地质学学术上的排名,不亚于众所周知的李四光。 然而他还有一个显赫的头衔:国民党“行宪”后的第一任行政院长,他组织了国民党政府的第一届“行宪内阁”。为此,曾被毛泽东宣布为第十二名“战犯”。 毛泽东在《论十大关系》中,称其为有爱国心的国民党军政人员。 我们对国民党军政人员,有没有“爱国心”的判定,往往以是否愿意“回归祖国”作标准,而翁文灏,恰恰是在1951年费尽周折,趁着夜幕飞抵广州的。
