目的:观察给予番泻叶水提物对雌性大鼠血清雌二醇(E2)水平的影响。方法:将40只Wiistar雌性大鼠随机分为5组,各剂量组分别给予相当于临床用药量的10、20、40、80倍。空白组给予等体积蒸馏水。连续灌胃3个月,每月最后一天测量体重并眼眶取血,分离血清并以放射免疫(RIA)技术检测血清E2含量水平。结果:第60天80倍剂量组血清E2水平较空白组显著升高(P<0.05),第90天时20、40、80倍剂量组血清E2水平均见显著升高(P<0.05或0.01)。结论:长期大量服用番泻叶会导致血清E2水平明显上升。
Objective: To observe the effect of water extract from senna on serum estradiol (E2) in female rats. Methods: Forty Wistar female rats were randomly divided into five groups. Each dose group was given 10, 20, 40 and 80 times of the clinical dosage. The blank group was given equal volume of distilled water. After 3 consecutive months of gavage, body weight and orbital bleeding were measured on the last day of each month. Serum levels of E2 were measured by radioimmunoassay (RIA). Results: Serum E2 levels in the 80-fold dose group were significantly higher than those in the blank group on the 60th day (P <0.05 or 0.01). On the 90th day, serum E2 levels were significantly increased (P <0.05 or 0.01) . Conclusion: Long-term large-scale use of senna will lead to a significant increase in serum E2 levels.
