1900年列宁流放期满后到国外与普列汉诺夫合作—俄国最大的马克思主义小组“劳动解放社”的领导人合作,于1900年12月24日在莱比锡创办了俄国社会民主工党第一家机关报《火星报》(Искра)。不久该报迁往德国慕尼黑出版,1902年4月移至英国伦敦出版,1903年之后移至瑞士日内瓦出版。主编普列汉诺夫和列宁,列宁实际上主持报纸工作。列宁为报纸两度起草了编辑部声明,是为报纸的基本方针。
After the expulsion of Lenin in 1900, he went abroad to collaborate with Plekhanov, leader of the largest Marxist group “Labor Liberation Society” in Russia, and founded the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party in Leipzig on December 24, 1900 The first organ reported that the “Iskra” (Искра).
