作为《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》要求开设的选修课,《英美报刊选读》课程对英语专业本科生了解西方文化、关注西方社会热点问题具有重要意义。由于该课程所使用的新闻语篇往往包含一些反映西方意识形态的蒙蔽现象,教师帮助学生有效挖掘、总结这些语篇中的蒙蔽现象成为开设该门课程的重要目的。论文首先介绍了《英美报刊选读》的常见授课模式并对新闻报道中的蒙蔽现象进行了界定。然后,论文从树立归纳意识、增强针对性和重视比较总结三个方面分析了教师如何在《英美报刊选读》课程中有效引导学生挖掘、总结新闻语篇中的蒙蔽现象。
As an elective course required by Syllabus for English Majors in Colleges and Universities, the Course of Reading in English and American newspapers is of great significance to English majors in understanding western culture and paying attention to hot issues in western society. Since the news discourse used in this course often contains some illusions that reflect Western ideology, teachers help students to effectively tap and summarize the blinding phenomena in these discourses as an important goal of the course. The dissertation first introduces the common mode of teaching “Anglo-American Newspaper Reading” and defines the blinding phenomenon in news report. Then, from the aspects of inductive consciousness, pertinence and emphasis on comparative summary, the essay analyzes how teachers can effectively guide students to dig in the “Anglo-American Newspaper Reading Course” and summarize the blinding phenomenon in news discourse.
