“学院派舞蹈”至今还是一个有争议的话题,将它与“桃李杯”舞目联系在一起来思考,到底会使我们的思路更清晰些还是会更模糊些呢?笔者认为是前者而不是后者。因为,“桃李杯”舞目主要是为“桃李杯”舞赛而创作的,而“桃李杯”舞赛又是艺术院校的舞蹈比赛,这种舞目比赛的可比性有一个很重要的思路:即舞目比赛的“比什么”与舞蹈院校“教什么”有一种内在的联系。正如舞蹈院校的“教什么”不会永远滞留在一个台阶上,舞目比赛的“比什么”也总会有新的期待值出现。而由此来理解“学院派舞蹈”的创作,就可以避免某些理论家用静止、片面、孤立的概念设定理论误区;从而避免使“学院派舞蹈”创作在一种文化概念圈地中“打坐”;也从而使“桃李杯”舞目的建设日臻完善起来。
