随着工业自动化的迅速发展,反馈控制得到越来越广泛的应用.反馈这种思想已经超出了工程技术的范畴,应用于很多非工程技术领域.经济、生物等学科利用反馈原理取得了一定成果,现在反馈又被成功地运用在教育上.什么是反馈?绪方胜彦认为:“反馈控制是这样一种控制过程:它能够在存在扰动的情况下,力图减小系统的输出量与参考量(或任意变化的希望的状态)之间的偏差,而且其工作也正是基于这一偏差基础之上的.”(《现代控制论》[日] 绪方胜彦著,卢伯音等译)控制论之父维纳把反馈定义为:“信息传递和返回的过程.”(《控制论》[美]维纳著,郝季仁译)不难看出,所谓反馈,就是把输出信号的一部分或者全部送回到输入端,以增强或减弱输入信号的效应.
