我所在73年就已经利用钴~(60)—γ射线,热中子等进行甜椒、番茄干种子的处理试验,在总结过去经验的基础上1979年我们又进行用钴~(60)—γ射线照射甜椒干种子,通过变异后代定向选择1983已近稳定,入选优系15—3—1,参加“全国原子核科学技术应用展览会”展出,该品系果大、肉厚、味佳、抗病、丰产。1983年小区测产比当地主栽品种巴彦椒增产35.3%。
