The 1st issue of this periodical contained the first chapter of the “Food and Sanitation Law of the People’s Republic of China”. In order to correctly understand the content of this chapter, the current summary reproduces the relevant part of Zheng Pengran (one of the chief editors of this publication) and the editor of Zhou Shunan’s “Food Hygiene Book” and the “Speech of the People’s Republic of China on Food Hygiene Law” for readers’ reference. .
