“,”Objective:To investigate the effects of wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with suspension training on motor function and living ability of patients with spastic cerebral palsy. Methods:A total of 54 children with spastic cerebral palsy in Jinyuan Hospital, Shanxi Children’s Hospital from June 2018 to February 2020 were enrolled, and they were randomly divided into two groups, with 27 cases in each group. Control group received suspension training, and observation group received wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with suspension training. Then the extremity motor function, rehabilitation effect, hypermyotonia of lower extremity and living ability after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, the simple Fugl-Meyer assessment scale (FMA) scores of the upper and lower limbs of observation group were higher than those of control group (n P<0.05). The recovery efficiency of observation group was 92.59%(25/27), higher than the 70.37%(19/27) of control group (n P<0.05). The modified Ashworth scale (MAS) score of observation group (1.64±0.36) was lower than that of control group (3.04±0.27),n P<0.05. The Activity of Daily Living Scale (ADL) score of observation group (47.64±10.36) was higher than that of control group (39.24±12.07),n P<0.05.n Conclusions:Application of wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with suspension training can effectively ameliorate the upper and lower limb motor function, relieve hypermyotonia of lower extremity, improve the living ability, and promote the recovery for children with spastic cerebral palsy.
