为有效避免交通事故,当今科学家们研制出多种智能化避祸的汽车。 德国研制成一种初步智能化的交通控制系统,根据模仿生物神经系统处理视觉信息方式,分析运算十字路口的车流量信息,帮助管理部门控制道路交通。智能化交通控制系统由数字摄像机、计算机和图像信息处理板卡组成,结构简单,价格低廉。数字摄像机拍摄十字路口的交通状况,由计算机对图像信息进行分析评估,结果可传送给交通控制中心,也可当时处理后,由计算机直接指挥红绿灯转换。该系统的硬件核心部分是图像信息处理板卡,借鉴生物判断筛选视觉信息的方式研究出一种程序算法,可判断出在一定时间内分别将有多少辆轿车和卡车通过十字路口,车速如何,在红灯前等候多少时间,并推算出道路拥挤程度。
