中国的现代化进程在本质上可以归结为对“中国现代性”的追寻和塑造过程。这一过程构成了近现代中国哲学发展的主线。它不仅体现在中国民主主义革命时期的文化及哲学的发展过程中,而且也体现在新中国成立以后特别是改革开放以来中国哲学的发展过程中。在既有的现代性中,蕴含着深刻的内在矛盾和无可避免的危机,其根源在于人类“自我主体性”的缺失。因此,确立“自我主体性”就成为成功塑造“中国现代性”的关键,从而也成为当代中国哲学的职责和使命。
In essence, China’s modernization process can be attributed to the process of pursuing and shaping “China’s modernity.” This process constitutes the main line of modern Chinese philosophy. It is not only manifested in the process of the development of culture and philosophy in the period of China’s democratic revolution, but also in the development of Chinese philosophy since the founding of new China, especially since the reform and opening up. In the existing modernity, there are profound internal contradictions and unavoidable crises. The root cause lies in the absence of human “self subjectivity.” Therefore, the establishment of “self-subjectivity” has become the key to the successful shaping of “China’s modernity,” thus becoming the duty and mission of contemporary Chinese philosophy.
