Language plays an important role in the formation of modes of thinking, in the construction of group and self-identity, and in the comprehension of social relations. Therefore, language is not only the starting point for feminism to initiate change, but also one of the core issues in feminist debate . The arguments of feminists tend to converge and be different. They all learn from Lacan’s linguistic perspective and believe that language identifies the gender gap. Anglo-American feminists believe that language revolution can be accomplished by finding gaps in the existing linguistic system and seeking authoritative voices, while French feminists think that the voices of women can not be expressed in the existing language system that embodies the male worldview. The language of women must be created.
