中国与希腊是古代东西方文明的两大渊源和突出代表。就其差异而言,较为明显而重要者有三:其一,中国以农为本,希腊则农工商并举;其二,中国的青铜文化与希腊的铁文化各领风骚;其三,中国乃礼义之邦,而希腊为法治的国度。而其共通之处,主要表现在意识形态领域,都出现过百家争鸣局面;奴隶主阶级都高度重视文化教育;在伦理道德、婚姻与幸福等观念上,双方亦存在不少共同点或类似之处
China and Greece are two major sources and prominent representatives of ancient Eastern and Western civilizations. In terms of their differences, there are three more obvious and important ones: First, China takes agriculture as the basis and Greece shares the same trade and industry; secondly, the bronze culture of China and the iron culture of Greece lead the way. Third, State, while Greece is the country of rule of law. However, their commonalities are mainly manifested in the field of ideology. There have been over a hundred contention positions in the field of ideology. The slave-owners’ classes all attach great importance to education in culture. There are also many similarities or similarities in the concepts of ethics, marriage and happiness
