This paper discusses the issue related to cultural difference and EFL teachers’ beliefs on what good teaching is like.An interview with four of trained language teachers from China in a UK training program is conducted to find out how the teachers treat their interactive tasks when they have a strong awareness of cultural difference.The finding is that they would adapt their way of applying interactive tasks in their EFL class.It also shows that it is not an easy job to understand EFL professional identity or belief.
