39岁的郑兰荪,由于在原子簇等方面研究有突出贡献,被国家教委列为首批跟踪的青年教师和首批跨世纪人才计划专家,获得了首届国家自然科学基金优秀中青年人才专项基金。是厦门大学化学系年轻的博士生导师。 塞翁失马 1954年10月,郑兰荪出生于一个高级知识分子家庭。父亲郑重是厦门大学海洋系国家一级教授,母亲顾学民教授曾担任过厦大化学系主任。他从小受家庭书香的熏陶,特别是他母亲更是对他寄以厚望,在史无前例的“文化大革命”中还暗地里教他学英语。渐渐地,他对英语产生了浓厚的兴趣。1978
