世界教材出版格局正呈现寡头化趋势,教材出版业务越来越集中在少数几个具有超大实力和规模的出版巨头手中。寡头化与多样化相依相生,即教材多样发展催生了寡头化格局,而寡头化又倒逼教材市场的进一步多样和扩容。这一现象出现的原因在于,教材开发中的规模效应要求只有具备强大实力、拥有庞大的周边配套“产品服务群”的出版主体才能在快速更新的教材市场中获得利润和发展。寡头化格局并不意味着对市场竞争的否定,也不是对多样化教材发展趋势的否定,而是在保证教材版本的基础上,强化市场选择和淘汰功能,建立正常的教材出版进入和退出机制,从而保证教材的整体质量不断上升。我国教材出版机构应理性看待这一现象,加大对与教材出版相关的配套服务及周边产品的开发和经营,促进教材学科内容细化,重视教材的实验环节和教材的专业化发展。

The textbook publishing institutions in our country should take a rational view of this phenomenon, increase the supporting services related to the publication of textbooks and the development and management of peripheral products, and promote the content refinement of textbooks, attach importance to the experimental links of teaching materials and the specialized development of textbooks.
