Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) is due to intermittent collapse of the upper respiratory tract, airway anatomy and hypotonia can be induced. OSAS more common in obese people. To determine the impact of upper airway anatomy on this disease, the authors performed polysomnography tests on 25 adult male patients. Their number of apnea hours per hour was 29 to 87, an average of 62. Patients have lethargy, and have a typical OSAS performance. The authors also performed direct observation of the respiratory tract and fiber microscopy; measured anteroposterior, hypopharyngeal, and laryngeal obstruction sites before and after the diameter and diameter. The abnormalities were jointly evaluated by the examiner and two observers based on the video recording to obtain an approximate score. The results showed that all patients have respiratory abnormalities. If the oropharyngeal uvula caused by the anteroposterior diameter is reduced, the lateral bulge caused by the narrowing of transverse diameter. Hypopharynx, tongue base large anteroposterior diameter will shrink, will be tired of water
