本研究将国外广泛应用的《早期儿童数学能力测试》(Test of Early Mathematics Ability,简称TEMA)翻译为中文译本,以上海市3所幼儿园339名5~6岁儿童为研究对象,运用TEMA量表(中文版)考察儿童数学能力的发展特点,并检验其效度和信度。统计分析表明,TEMA量表具有良好的项目鉴别力、内部一致性和稳定性,构成TEMA量表的非正式数学能力因子和正式数学能力因子呈高度正相关。数据同时显示,上海市5~6岁儿童数学能力的性别差异和年龄差异显著。检验结果表明,TEMA量表(中文版)具有良好的信效度,可以作为评价早期儿童数学能力的有效工具。
This study translates the Test of Early Mathematics Ability (TEMA), which is widely used in foreign countries, into a Chinese translation. Taking 339 children aged 5 to 6 years old from 3 kindergartens in Shanghai as subjects, TEMA (Chinese) examines the developmental characteristics of children’s mathematical abilities and tests their validity and reliability. Statistical analysis shows that the TEMA scale has good project discrimination, internal consistency and stability. The informal mathematics ability factor which constitutes the TEMA scale has a positive correlation with the formal mathematical ability factor. The data also show that there are significant differences in gender and age in math ability of children aged 5 ~ 6 in Shanghai. The test results show that the TEMA Scale (Chinese version) has a good reliability and validity and can be used as an effective tool to evaluate the mathematical abilities of early childhood.
