The Chinese New Year is a custom that we Chinese have circulated for over 2,000 years. It is not only a station for recuperating and living, but also the happiest time for us - the New Year is always relaxed, festive and lively. However, although “Year” has passed year after year, how much do we know about “Year”? For example, why do we have to pay New Year’s greetings? Why does New Year’s money have to be New Year’s Eve? Why does the Chinese New Year take off firecrackers? With changes in people’s values and lifestyles? As the most “year” of Chinese traditional festivals, it seems that it is also facing an impact. More and more people are beginning to feel that the New Year is boring, and Christmas, Valentine’s Day and other foreign festivals are popular. Then, how does the “Year” demonstrate its cultural and humanistic charm? Is it really outdated? Let us step into the special issue of the “Year” of this issue. We believe that the careful exploration of teachers and students at Changzhou International Experimental School will make us think about “Year”. Have a deeper understanding. Get close to the New Year and get close to the “Year” culture. Come together!
