干气密封是在气体润滑轴承的基础上发展起来的新型非接触式机械密封,是目前世界上最先进的密封技术之一。某炼油厂新建500kt/a芳烃联合装置的离心式循环氢压缩机在轴封的选择上,考虑到工艺介质高压、易燃、易爆等特性及催化剂不能受污染等要求,选用了中间带迷宫的串联干气密封。对串联干气密封的工作原理、有关技术参数及机组概况进行了介绍;着重分析了一级二级密封供气、一级泄漏气及隔离N2的工艺控制系统,并指出压缩机跑油、开停机不同阶段气体投用原则及运行时应注意的一些问题。此套干气密封从首次投用,分别经历了压缩机空气负荷试车、N2负荷试车及因晃电造成的突然停机等不同工况的考验,经过一年多安全运行,密封的各类运行参数都在设计指标内。通过干气密封在装置的成功应用,极大提高了装置核心设备循环氢压缩机运行的安全和可靠性。
