作为一位执着于真理问题而又富有诗性气质的哲学家,巴迪欧对当代艺术的景观化和道成肉身化的倾向展开激烈的批判,断言当代艺术不过沉溺于对死亡的迷恋。巴迪欧反对否定之否定的毁灭原则,提出艺术的减法是通往真理的绝对开端的肯定原则与积极介入真理生产的干预性操作。巴迪欧守护着对真理保持忠诚的艺术理想国,其艺术思想既是对当代艺术中的虚无主义与相对主义的反驳,也为当代艺术开启独特的真理向度。
As a philosopher with poetic temperament attached to the issue of truth, Badiou fiercely criticized the landscape and incarnation of contemporary art, asserting that contemporary art is merely indulging in the fascination with death. Badiou rejects the principle of negation of negation and proposes that the subtraction of art is the affirmative principle leading to the absolute beginning of truth and the intervention that actively intervenes in the production of truth. Badiou is guarding the ideal country of art that maintains loyalty to the truth. His artistic thinking is not only a refutation of nihilism and relativism in contemporary art, but also opens up a unique dimension of truth to contemporary art.
