Looking at the history of Chinese painting, it is an indisputable fact that the development of the heavy brush method as the mainstream tradition of reusing written pen is an indisputable fact in the history of Chinese painting. From this point of view, the emphasis on “brushwork” in Chinese traditional painting is not a theoretical guideline of emptiness, abstraction, or staticness, but a concrete manifestation of the artist’s own means of expression and its function will vary with the needs of artists of different ages And constantly changing development. Thus, before and after the prosperous Tang “white painting ” appearance is a significant phenomenon. “White Painting” can be said to have been an early example of the characteristics of Chinese painting by using the heavy stroke method, which is also the basis for the later ink and wash landscape painting.
