改革开放以来,虽然国民经济持续快速健康发展,广大职工群众的生活状况总体上有了很大的改善,但仍存在着困难职工群体。对此,各级党委和政府高度重视,采取了“两个确保”、“一个低保”等措施,帮助解决实际问题,对保障困难职工基本生活、维护职工队伍稳定起到了重要作用。尽管如此,当前仍有许多问题有待进一步解决。例如:将所有符合条件的困难职工纳入“低保”的工作有待进一步落实;下岗职工人数仍较多,解除劳动关系困难重重,实现再就业十分困难;部分困难企业职工特别是困难职工未能享受到养老、医疗、失业保障;拖欠职工工资的问题至今仍没有得到很好解决;部分劳模生活困难;安全生产形势严峻,部分职工的生命安全和身体健康受到威胁。

Some laborers have difficulties in their daily lives. The situation of safety in production is grim, and the life safety and physical health of some employees are threatened.
