“食品卫生合格率”这一统计指标在食品卫生工作中被广泛地运用于工作总结、情况汇报、监测报告及信息报道等.为了说明某地食品卫生质量动态变化情况,常常要进行两年或数年合格率的比较.由于不同食品自身的差异,其卫生合格率是不同的.加之不同年份每年检测不同种类食品的数量构成比不一致.致使获得的食品卫生总合格率不能正确反映食品卫生质量,甚至得出错误的结论.解决上述问题的办法是通过率的标准化法加以校正,再进行比较.下面举例说明.附表为某地1994年和1995年各类食品卫生监测数据.
