目的 :研究神经生长因子 (NGF)在癫痫的发病和治疗中的作用。方法 :大鼠侧脑室注射NGF 5 μl(1μg/ μl) ,30min后大鼠皮下注射戊四氮 75mg/kg ,诱导癫痫发作 ,观察癫痫发作的潜伏期、发作次数、发作持续时间和死亡率。结果 :癫痫的潜伏期明显缩短 (P <0 .0 1) ,发作次数明显增多 (P <0 .0 0 1) ;发作持续时间虽有增长 ,但无统计学意义。给予NGF后 ,大鼠死亡率明显高于对照组 (P <0 .0 5 )。结论 :NGF具有提高戊四氮致癫的同化作用。提示NGF用于癫痫的治疗和预防应当慎重
Objective: To investigate the role of nerve growth factor (NGF) in the pathogenesis and treatment of epilepsy. Methods: Rats were injected with 5 μg NGF (1 μg / μl) into the lateral ventricle. Rats were injected subcutaneously with pentylenetetrazole (75 mg / kg) 30 min later to induce seizures. The seizure latency, number of seizures, duration of seizure and mortality were observed. Results: The latency of epilepsy was significantly shortened (P <0.01) and the number of seizures significantly increased (P <0.01). The duration of seizure increased, but not statistically significant. After administration of NGF, the mortality of rats was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: NGF has the effect of increasing pentylenetetrazol induced epilepsy. Tip NGF for the treatment and prevention of epilepsy should be careful
