职业教育是我国经济社会发展的重要基础和教育工作的战略重点。近年来,职业教育虽取得了长足发展,但仍存在着认识不够,总量不足,质量不高,效益不明显,办学特色不突出等问题,职业教育整体上仍是教育的薄弱环节。我们应转变观念,创新办学机制、办学模式、管理体制和运行机制,各级政府和有关部门要强化领导,统筹协调,落实有关政策,使职业教育步上良性发展的轨道。 Vocational education is an important foundation of our country’s economic and social development and a strategic focus of education. In recent years, although vocational education has made great strides, there are still some problems such as insufficient understanding, insufficient total amount, low quality, not obvious benefits and lack of distinguishing characteristics of running schools. Vocational education as a whole is still the weak link in education. We should change our concept, innovate our school-running mechanism, school-running mode, management system and operational mechanism. Governments at all levels and relevant departments should strengthen leadership and make overall plans to coordinate and implement relevant policies so that vocational education will step onto the path of sound development.
