本文介紹的方法是北京地質学院河北地質队太行山十一分队的集体創作,笔者只是资枓的整理者。在野外不具备化驗条件的情況下,用这个方法求磁铁矿的品位含量具有其独特的优点。因为这个方法設备簡单,只要有秤、永久性磁鉄和簡单的矿石碾碎机就行了,不需任何化学藥品。但这个方法只限于磁銖矿方能应用,其他的鉄矿都不能用。这个方法是根据:純磁铁矿含Fe72.4%,当矿石原始重量为Q、磁铁矿石中純磁铁矿的重量百分比为P时,則矿石品位(e)=P×72.4%。具体作法是:秤50克矿石(Q),碾碎成粉末撒在紙上,用薄烟紙将永久性磁铁裹上,在紙面上均匀地移动,等吸上大量矿石粉末后,即将此磁鉄移至另一干净紙上,並将烟紙取下,这样铁矿粉便落在干净紙
