2006年,是实施“十一五”规划的第一年,也是新时期我省建设社会主义新农村的全面铺开的一年。建设社会主义新农村是一项长期、复杂、系统的社会工程,需要全社会的共同努力。因为只有农业发达了、农村繁荣了、农民富裕了、农民的物质和文化生活水平提高了,建设社会主义和谐社会的发展战略才能有基础和保障,全面建设小康社会的目标才能最终实现。在省十届人大四次会议召开之际,本刊推出关于“建设社会主义新农村”的—组报道,以期社会各界更多的关注。我们有理由相信,广东未来“新农村”的模样会更美好!
In 2006, it is the first year to implement the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” and also a year when our province will build a new socialist countryside. Building a new socialist countryside is a long-term, complicated and systematic social project and requires the joint efforts of the whole society. Only when agriculture is developed, the countryside is prosperous, the peasants are rich, the peasants’ material and cultural life are improved, the development strategy of building a socialist harmonious society can have a foundation and guarantee, and the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way can be finally achieved. On the occasion of the Fourth Session of the Tenth National People’s Congress, we published a series of articles on “building a new socialist countryside” with a view to giving more attention from all walks of life. We have reason to believe that Guangdong’s future “new rural” look will be better!
