2010年8月14日,在中国疾病预防控制中心、中华预防医学会(CPMA)、葛兰素史克(中国)投资有限公司(GSK)于上海举办的《疫苗的价值》出版仪式上,我国疾控专家指出,疫苗接种对传染病的控制是20世纪最伟大的公共卫生成就之一,在发病率和死亡率的降低方面产生了全球性的影响。《疫苗的价值》由中国疾控中心和葛兰素史克公司共同编写,旨在提升大众对于接种疫苗重要性的认识,并呼吁各界对疫苗接种给予支持。中华预防医学会副会长蔡纪明希望《疫苗的价值》一书的出版能引起政府、社会、公众对疫苗接种工作的充分理解和支持,提高大众对疫苗价值的知晓率,提高大众的健康素养。
On August 14, 2010, at the publication ceremony of the “Value of Vaccine” held by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Chinese Society of Preventive Medicine (CPMA) and GSK in Shanghai, China Control experts point out that the control of infectious diseases by vaccination is one of the greatest public health achievements of the 20th century and has had a global impact on the reduction of morbidity and mortality. The vaccine’s value, co-authored by China CDC and GlaxoSmithKline, aims to raise public awareness of the importance of vaccination and calls for support from all walks of life for vaccination. Cai Jiming, vice president of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Society, hopes the publication of The Value of Vaccine can give full understanding and support to the vaccination work by the government, the society and the public, raise public awareness of the value of the vaccine and raise the public’s health literacy.
