对外汉语教材数量庞大,质量参差不齐,在国外使用率很低,覆盖面极小。改变这种状况,要在创新教材研发理念和探索教材推广模式两个方面下功夫。在教材研发方面,要善于总结和把握汉语国际教育的基本规律,一方面研发具有“经典性”、“规范性”和“普适性”的教材;另一方面要着力开发具有实用价值的应用型、集成化的个性鲜明的多媒体、多功能的新型教学资源,以解决教学的“国别性”和“针对性”或称“本土化”的问题。在推广模式上,可探索并不断完善“内依汉推基地,外靠孔子学院,联合国外汉语培训机构”的教材推广模式;根据不同的教学重点和目标,加强专业的、高层次的、本土汉语教师的培训;与教材的使用者建立沟通平台,使教材及其教学资源的研发适应汉语教学市场的实际需求。
